Why We Love Our House, 86 Village Lane, South Hamilton, MA
We love this house because of its location. We have a warm welcoming home in a rural location. We have friendly neighbors and we enjoy cook-outs with family and friends on our patio.
Our home is within easy commuting distance to Boston and Logan Airport is 40 minutes away. Nearby are excellent schools in Hamilton, excellent medical facilities and good shopping. For recreation there are many amenities including fishing, golfing and good beaches.
We are situated on an attractive corner, with a mature landscaped site leading into a dead end street, ending at the reservation on Chebacco Lake. We have deeded rights to the lake and many happy memories of the family boating there.
We have made many improvements to our home including installing double glazed doors and windows, so that it is cozy in the winter when we can enjoy our open fire. We have very good storage in many closets as well as generous cupboards in wonderful kitchen. We love our entrance hall, it makes life much easier when the children can leave outdoor wear there.
We created our garden for easy maintenance and we find our back yard peaceful as we look onto woodland and can watch the wild life including many species of birds. In the Spring we have snowdrops, crocuses and tulips, followed by azalea, rhododendron and dogwood. There are irises, lilies, and a beautiful hydrangea in the Fall.
A new owner will have a comfortable family home in the beautiful Northshore area.
